Autodesk BIM 360 is a set of tools that support work in the BIM, but also tools that make it easier for you to work. Whether you are running a large workroom or doing big projects or single-person activities. One of the biggest benefits of the BIM 360 is working in the cloud. Why is this important? The answer is simple: Availability. With these services, you have continuous access to your projects. In addition, you do not need to have any programs installed (other than the regular web browser) to view projects. It is worth mentioning that access to resources is not limited to a computer only. Everything is also available from mobile devices (Android and iOS). Autodesk storage capacity is unlimited, so you don’t have to limit yourself to the size of your designs and keep all your documentation in one place. And you don’t have to worry about security – all the applications in the BIM 360 series are ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018 and SSAE-16 at 101 SOC 2 certified.

The BIM 360 Docs is the foundation of the entire BIM 360 platform, providing access to the data stored there. All data is organized in the directory structure we created. And access to the appropriate directories is set up individually for users, so not everyone can see the entire project.
The BIM 360 Document Management provides the ability to view projects saved in DWG, RVT, IFC, and PDF format.
In addition to the preview itself, there are a few easy-to-use tools: Distance measurement, any section (in the case of the 3D model), but also more advanced tools such as a walk in the first person around the model, which allows the customer to walk around their home (or another object).
Another interesting and useful feature is to show more versions of the project. As a result, there is no need to save future versions with an added update date. Everything is done automatically for us, and we have access to all versions of the project that we can compare. If you work with several people on a project, this allows us to see what has been changed compared to the previous version.
Another feature that improves work and customer interaction is to provide feedback and share comments between project employees. Instead of making print screenshots and sending emails, simply add a comment to the customer or co-worker.
The individual BIM 360 Field options provide the ability to report construction issues, create tasks for individuals or contractors, and create a checklist. Each of these features includes a range of options such as taking a build photo, problem tagging, and accurate location. With this option, you can easily inspect your tablet from the site. In addition, if something is unclear or poorly taken, we can take a picture of what is exactly what is meant on it and include it in the BIM 360 Field with the appropriate comment. This allows the individual to be immediately informed of the problem with the exact location and description. Individuals concerned are immediately notified by email and can be accessed on mobile devices.
