MATEXP is a proprietary MAT application that combines AutoCAD Plant 3D with Revit and Inventor. It allows you to export data from AutoCAD Plant 3D to other programs.
The greatest advantage of this solution is the ability to export to .ifc format in Revit, which has so far been considered the biggest disadvantage of Plant 3D.
What’s more, it allows you to export packages to Vault and BIM360 to share them with colleagues.
On both platforms, the exported files are automatically cataloged into individual versions, which significantly simplifies the document management process.
