The most important new features and improvements in AutoCAD 2022:

  • TRACE – Improve collaboration between your team and streamline the review process. Securely review and provide feedback on an AutoCAD drawing without changing the existing drawing. Works on desktops, on the web, and on mobile devices.
  • COUNT – Automate your counting tasks and reduce errors. Calculations can be made by layer, reflection state or scale. Overlapping or exploded blocks will be marked for checking. Easily update calculations that can be exported to a table.
  • SHARE – share Send controlled copies of drawings to your team and colleagues, establishing access for those who only need to view and those who need to edit. Save time by sharing your drawings in AutoCAD.
  • FLOATING WINDOWS – drag the drawing tab and display it as a floating window. View and edit two drawings simultaneously in fully functional windows side by side or on multiple monitors.
  • FLEXIBLE CONFIGURATION – Reduce software setup time with faster and flexible installation. You can work in AutoCAD during installation.
  • PUSH TO AUTODESK DOCS – Increase your productivity and reduce the number of steps by publishing CAD drawing sheets as PDF files from AutoCAD to Autodesk Docs. In addition, you can access DWG files in Autodesk Docs format anywhere with the AutoCAD web app
